A 30-minute water taxi from San Pedro, Caye Caulker is a smaller, quieter island with a wonderfully laid-back vibe. The whole family can explore it on foot in a day. Getting around
Golf carts are the main transport — most companies have four and six-seater options. Our concierge can arrange one to be waiting for you on arrival.
Sun safety
The Belizean sun is strong, especially on the water. Pack reef-safe sunscreen, UV swim shirts for the kids, and wide-brim hats. Reapply every two hours.
Snorkeling ages
Most children aged five and up can safely snorkel with a life vest and a patient guide. Our snorkel team are brilliant with first-timers and little ones.
Fishing ages
