Belize is easier to reach this winter. New nonstop routes open up the country to more travelers, and the trip from the airport to Ambergris Caye is short. Here’s what’s new.
New nonstop flights with BermudAir
BermudAir is adding new routes to Belize City (BZE), with the first starting October 26. The Boston schedule runs through May 1, 2027, and the airline’s published schedules extend many of the routes through spring 2027, which covers the whole dry season.
- Fort Lauderdale (FLL): starting Oct 26, 2026 (Mon, Wed, Fri)
- Boston (BOS): starting Dec 19, 2026 (Wed, Sat)
- Raleigh-Durham (RDU): starting Dec 21, 2026 (Mon, Fri)
- St. Petersburg/Tampa (PIE): starting Dec 20, 2026 (Thu, Sun)
- Orlando-Sanford (SFB): starting Dec 21, 2026 (Mondays)
- Guatemala City (GUA): starting Dec 19, 2026 (Wed, Sat, via Belize City)
New from Canada: WestJet from Winnipeg
WestJet will launch a nonstop service between Winnipeg and Belize City, operating once weekly from December 14, 2026. It’s the first direct link between Manitoba and Belize. WestJet already flies nonstop from Calgary and Toronto, so Canadian travelers now have three nonstop options this winter.
